As part of our expansion, internal opportunities have arisen, and we're seeking an experienced Sports Trader to join our trading function, specifically to cover overnight shifts. The Trading Function within Star Sports is responsible for both the Trading performance and Risk Management of our sportsbook products and associated White Labels this opportunity suits a night owl, comfortable working between the hours of 10:15pm – 8:15am.
Location: Remote.
Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts any 5 days from seven, 10.15pm-8.15am
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day delivery of our Trading strategy.
• Ordering, set-up, and settlement of Sportsbook products.
• Bet acceptance decisions.
• Price management and liability control.
• Customer analysis and management.
• Customer liaison and relationship maintenance.
• Monitor and manage site content.
• Communicate with external providers.
• Fraud prevention and company protection.
• Detailed reporting.
What we’re looking for:
• Demonstrable Trading experience.
• Strong interest in Sport.
• Understanding and delivery of compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate a good understanding and insight of the betting industry.
• Strong mathematical ability (degree level preferred).
• Critical thinker – able to make quick and well-informed decisions.
• Hard-working team player – able to build and sustain relationships.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to develop self and others.
