Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Director to join one of our fast paced, growing client teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading several the teams key accounts, across Financial Services and Not-for-profit sectors.

They will report into the Client Managing Director and a Business Director, with support from the Account Managers and Executives, to plan and deliver integrated awareness and performance campaigns for key clients. They will be responsible for delivering highly effective campaigns that deliver across both short and long-term objectives to drive growth.

You will be involved in new business pitching alongside your day-to-day role to help support the continued growth of the accounts team.

This will be an integral role, requiring a broad blend of skills; with a strong understanding of how to plan and execute across a range of channels and tech-platforms, as well as a solid understanding of data analysis and insight techniques, and a competent level of general marketing. The role has significant room for growth and career progression, with training provided to cover any knowledge gaps.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Working with the internal team to develop strategies that achieve client objectives.

Lead the creation and presentation of client report presentations showcasing key insights, optimisations and strategy - quarterly / annual.

Responsible and accountable for managing client budgets and financial reporting.

Act as an extension of your client’s team through building excellent relationships with your senior client team. Often challenging them to get to the core of briefs and understand their business objectives.

Closely work with the data science and digital teams to ensure we always deliver a truly data-driven, integrated approach across all clients, using Apollo and other relevant tools and techniques.

Developing and implementing strategic partnerships with clients and media partners.

Helping your Business Director and Client Managing Director to lead and develop a best-inclass client planning and execution team.

Motivate the team across all channels and drive agency first digital initiatives.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Experience in performance and brand marketing across the UK market, predominantly in offline channels (including likes of TV, radio, print, etc).

Experience in digital marketing preferable (including likes of Meta, PPC, display, etc).

Line-management experience (and enjoyment!) in helping Execs and Managers to plan and execute media campaigns and further their growth.

Experience in building long term experimentation plans with a philosophy of test and learn to deliver client growth.

Deep understanding of measurement and attribution across offline and digital channels.

Experience in working with offline and digital teams to plan integrated campaigns.

Leadership experience, through managing senior stakeholders both internal and client side.

Project management skills: Draws up plans for delivery of work to deadlines, with all milestones plotted, follows up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and heads off any risk to this through proactive checking in.
