Job Description
Our client is an extremely successful and fast growing company based in Chandlers Ford. They specialise in Global Procurement, Sourcing and Supply of a vast range of equipment from all around the world.
They are looking to recruit a Procurement Account Manager to join their busy team.
In this role you will be –
- Managing the procurement process for a portfolio of international client accounts
- Managing existing client accounts as well as getting involved in finding and growing new clients
- Negotiating with suppliers on the phone and email, challenging prices where relevant
- Sourcing and procuring a wide range of parts and equipment from local and international suppliers
- Upselling and maximising company profitability and sales
Skills / Experience required:-
- High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Previous experience working as a buyer or procurement specialist (ideally within the construction industry)
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel
- Strong negotiating and selling skills
- Full Driving license
