Job description
Robert Half are working exclusively in partnership within the UK's industry leading, PE backed organisation, to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst on a permanent basis. You will be a crucial member of our Group Finance team, responsible for conducting financial analysis, financial reporting and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
Role Details/ Package:
- Salary £75,000 to £80,000 (depending on experience)
- Based in Southeast London / Hybrid Working
- Likely travel to Europe.
Role Responsibilities:
As a key team member, you will report to the Group FP&A Director, influencing business decisions. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, enhancing your visibility and impact.
- Assist in delivering monthly financial group reporting submissions, monthly board meetings, quarterly external updates, rating agency communication. This also includes, preparing monthly presentations that offer valuable insights into performance.
- Perform an analysis to understand and address the business's commercial needs, identifying opportunities for profit improvement, optimal asset utilisation, and enhanced cash generation.
- Cultivate robust ties with country operational and finance teams, involving on-site visits and collaboration with function heads. Gain insights into trading conditions, budget variances, and track risks and opportunities to ensure the achievement of financial targets.
- Create regular and ad-hoc analysis reports and presentations for the CFO, shareholders, and Group Management Board.
- Facilitate annual budget delivery, re-forecasts, and strategic planning, whilst build and maintaining strong financial models for ongoing support.
- Contribute to shaping advanced leading indicators and forward-looking analytic that drive strategic, operational, and financial initiatives.
To be considered for the FP&A Analyst role, you must ideally possess the following experience/attributes:
Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Ideally 1-2 years industry experience post qualification.
- Proficiency in excel, financial modelling and good knowledge of other Office 365 tools.
- Fluent in English.

- Proven ability to generate insightful written reports for senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
