Job description
To ensure that an agreed standard of service and patient care is maintained in line with professional standards and research, clinical audit evidence and NICE guidelines. To demonstrate a sound understanding of clinical governance and risk management and apply to the work situation including work delegated to support staff. To ensure that appropriate evidence based nutrition and dietetic information is readily available and accessed by dietitians, healthcare professionals, patients and clients. To interact with nursing and AHP colleagues on a regular basis during staff and team meetings and at bi-monthly professional meeting. To keep accurate records and maintain their confidentiality, monitor dietetic and service standards and patient activity data in accordance with professional and Trust standards and produce reports relevant to the specialist area of practice.
