To provide a wide range of activities, which will interest and stimulate the physical and mental state of our residents.

Responsibilities
- To participate in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents in a social capacity so as to provide a happy and stimulating experience.
- Encourage staff members, relatives and friends to participate in the homes activities
- To liaise with residents and their families so as to plan ongoing weekly activity plans and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies as well as partaking in new activities.
- Maintain full and accurate records of activities in the activity log book, in order
to monitor, record and evaluate individual and group participation and success.
- To keep abreast with new developments in the field of caring for older people.
- To assist the Home Manager in planning special events such as concerts, Christmas party etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in the delivery of activities is essential.
