Nursing Home Manager - £55,000 - £60,000 + Competitive bonus - Walsall     

SYK are proud to be working with a client who are recruiting for a Home Manager to lead their Walsall based Nursing Home. This is a great opportunity to work with a small Private Health Care provider with Nursing and Residential Homes across the Midlands.

The home is based between Cannock and Walsall and provides around the clock care for residents living with variety of General Elderly care needs. It’s a medium sized home looking for an experience Home Manager, but will also consider a strong Deputy who is looking to step up to a Home Manager. The ideal candidates will be able to evidence having achieved Good CQC report in their previous role.

As Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical, operational and financial performance of the home, ensuring a high-quality and cost-effective service which meets the needs of residents and exceeds regulatory requirements. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management, and will monitor, coach and support the care, nursing and ancillary teams.

Applicants for this Home Manager position should meet the following criteria:

• NMC Registered Adult Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and ideally have completed or are currently completing a recognised management qualification such as Diploma Level 5/The Registered Managers Award
• From a strong background in elderly care, ideally having previous experience as CQC Registered Manager or Deputy Manager of a UK nursing home
• Able to effectively manage budgets and resources, increasing profitability without compromising on care
• Able to lead, develop and inspire both clinical and non-clinical teams
