Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Liverpool. As a Supply Chain Manager your role will be to control on going purchases and stock levels of bespoke and catalogue lines to meet the demands of all customers. You will monitor the company's supply logistics processes and strategies, implementing process improvement techniques to maximize stock availability enabling optimal Business performance.
Key duties and responsibilities....
- Coordinate with suppliers and third-party vendors, and maintain stable business relationships with distributors.
- Identify inconsistencies in supply chain operations, ensure the adequacy of stock inventories, implement quality control procedures, and analyse industry trends to identify business opportunities, meeting consumer demands and public needs.
- Place all repeat orders with suppliers to maintain supply of all relevant lines by using the ordering system
- Review forward orders weekly in the view of amending delivery dates to prevent overstocks or stock out situations.
- Weekly updates where required with KAM’s for high profile customers to ensure all is in order to meet the demand.
- Review and amend catalogue forecasts to allow the system to have correct information to prompt reorders
- Collate information on OTIF, stock holding and value to share with operations director on a weekly basis.
- Manage all customs clearance and bookings for overseas imports
- Update and distribute to top 20 suppliers monthly.
- Review all invoice queries, reject where incorrect and approve to enable the invoice to be paid.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills

Benefits
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Salary- £40,000- £45,000 (Flexible dependant on experience)
