An opportunity has arisen for a Dental Service Coordinator to join the Lancashire & South Cumbria Dental Service to lead and support the Dental Teams

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven individual, with the ability to motivate others and provide effective, efficient leadership and management to facilitate the delivery of a high quality, efficient, evidence based and cost effective dental service for all patients.

An enhanced criminal records check will be required for this post.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to be operationally responsible for the day to day co-ordination of a complex range of services delivered within Lancashire & South Cumbria Foundation Trust (LSCFT) Dental Service. The post holder will support the development of the strategic direction for the LSCFT Dental Service and project management of service development and expansion. You will need to be proactive, innovative and able to keep quality, the service users and the team at the heart of everything you do

You will need to have a good knowledge of the Dental Service and also be registered with the General Dental Council as a healthcare professional.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
