Options Autism are hiring a Children's Home Registered Manager in Kirkby Lonsdale!

Role: Registered Manager 

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience/qualifications) PLUS Annual Bonus of up to 10%

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week )

Location: Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria

About the Role

Outcomes First Group are recruiting for an experienced, ambitious Children’s Home Registered Manager to join our Underley Gardens Home in Kirkby Lonsdale. We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead and manage the team in the everyday running of residential care, achieve the best outcomes and provide a safe and secure environment for all. 

There are 10 residential bungalows and three smaller houses on site. All are fully self-contained within the grounds. Each bungalow has between three and eight single bedrooms and most bedrooms have en-suite facilities. 

Our next Registered Manager will be someone who has:

• Mandatory: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
• Extensive experience of working in a residential setting
• High level of working knowledge of relevant legislation
• Experience of leading and motivating teams
• Ability to effectively train individuals and groups

The Location

• Underley Garden School is a unique setting, providing specialist education, therapy and care for children and young people through the highest levels of expertise.
• Located near the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Underley Garden is an Independent Special School and Children’s Home. We are Specialists in Education, Care and Therapy for young people with autistic spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, complex behaviour associated with autism and anxiety and mental health needs.
• The school and home provide for young people between the ages of 5-19. The school was judged to be outstanding in all areas in April 2022. During their latest inspection, the Children’s Home was judged Good.
• Options Autism is a national provider of specialist education, care and therapeutic services for individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We provide a person-centred approach to education and support, looking at the full needs of the individual and adapting our approach accordingly.
