Overview
Our client is one of the world’s leading suppliers the Industrial and Aerospace markets. The company has a product portfolio of market leading brands serving its customers’ most demanding applications. They are now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join their growing team.
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000
The Role
Working with stakeholders, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordination and implementation of marketing and communication content / material.
The primary objective is to support sales and business development functions increase awareness of brand, products and services reflecting the 5-year strategic growth plan.
Principal Activities
- Improve and optimise website content and structure
- Lead front end product launch activities ensuring sales and marketing plans are put in place with implemented with results tracked to ensure sales commitments are met.
- Manage and generate marcom, datasheets, brochures, presentations and training materials.
- Manage and generate press releases and social media presence.
- Supporting internal communication campaigns to effectively distribute key information.
- Exhibition management, hospitality events, conferences.
- Coordinate Market Feedback Analysis
- Market research and analysis to guide strategic marketing and sales decisions
The Person
- Comfortable in communicating effectively at all levels, able to build credibility and present effectively to customers, channel partners and internally
- Able and interested to understand engineered products and related differentiated selling strategies and applications.
- Experience in corporate communications and brand management as advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Indesign® and photography.
- Knowledge of Linkedin, SEO, adwords, et al as means of raising awareness.
- Able to solve routine and complex problems using information sources provided, or by conceptual and innovative thinking, with or without supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Has a desire and ambition to grow into a larger role of responsibility.
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferred), or similar. with at least two years’ experience in a related field.
