37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks working 40 weeks per year

At an exciting time in our journey towards outstanding and our move to our new school building in summer 2024, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Attendance Manager to lead and manage the team at Byrchall High School and help develop and drive our attendance strategy to support our pupils in reaching their full potential.
We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Manager to raise achievement and contribute to safeguarding through improving school attendance, liaising with the Headteacher and senior leaders to rapidly improve school attendance. You will deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies in relation to attendance, have the ability to accurately record, collate and analyse attendance data, have strong interpersonal skills to promote a positive attitude towards attendance and ensure parents are aware of their statutory responsibilities and to be able to meet with parents and students in relation to attendance. We would particularly like to hear from you if you have prior experience within a school/local authority attendance setting.
