Expleo Engineering UK is expanding its Electronics & Embedded Systems (EES) capability rapidly, so we are looking to recruit a Systems Engineer-Electrical who is keen to progress their careers with a growing company and who want to help our customers make real products. 

The EES business unit has world class experts in the provision of real-time embedded systems, specialising in safety critical control systems. To continue to grow the business we are now looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our growing team.

• Manages the engineering team to ensure that all deliverables defined in the Statement of Work (SoW) are achieved in terms of time and quality

• Supporting multiple system design development and maturation

• Support RFQ processes by review of supplier documentation

• Support development of Parts and BoM Maturity

• Support development & maintenance of Requirement Sets (requires DOORS)

• Support development of Interfaces Maturity

• Support development of System Cabling

• Support development of System Integration, Installation, Test & Commissioning

• Support Production of V&V Specifications

• Support Design Reviews

• Support Integrated Working Groups

• Manage and control checking of deliverables
• Contribute to continuous process improvement
• Be the technical focal point of the team and build good working relationships with customers
• Provides input into Project Managers on additional scope and change impact
• Provide weekly updates to internal staff and client as required

• Preferred, Incorporated or Chartered Engineer or have evidence of progress towards Professional Registration with a PEI.
• Experienced in Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environments.

• Presentation experience

MBSE experience a plus

• Practical, relevant experience in a product development environment performing similar Electrical systems engineering roles, to a high level.
• Expertise in requirements engineering.
• Experience of applying system engineering toolsets and paradigms such as IBM DOORS, etc
• Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
