In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is delivering communications, events and corporate social responsibility activities in line with our strategy aimed at inspiring our workforce and making Safran Seats GB a great place to work.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Development and delivery of communication and engagement material
• Manage the communication calendar, liaising with business areas to support them as required to develop messaging and schedules.
• Advise on, plan and implement communications activities using a variety of communications channels (newsletter, email, social, digital, video, events etc.) to raise the profile and awareness of the key messages of Safran Seats GB.
• Write, proofread and edit internal communications and any external communications as may be required.
• Use a range of programs and software for design and creation of communication, e.g. Canva and Adobe Suite.
• Advise and support line managers and employees involved in the production of communications for their team, to ensure communications are delivered with the audience in mind and in line with the organisations culture.
• Monitoring and responding to feedback in the SGB Communications Inbox, escalating as required.
• Assist in the delivery of employee engagement action plans following the annual Safran Seats employee engagement survey to include monitoring actions and communicating changes within functions.
• Act as a brand ambassador – ensuring all communication assets and signage are on brand, adhering to best practice on brand guidelines.
• Support and participate in UK wide communication projects and events as required.
• Support in the organisation and deployment of the Employee Engagement Survey and other staff surveys as required by Safran.
• Support in content creation for the Seats GB intranet, ensuring up to date, engaging and relevant.

Job Requirements
Minimum two years' experience within internal/external communications or a related role
The ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines and producing written material which requires minimal input from senior colleagues
Excellent writing skills – a proven ability to write clear, engaging copy for different audiences and channels with excellent grammar and spelling.
