Orthopaedics / Neurology Veterinary Surgeon – West Yorkshire
We’re seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon with specialization in Orthopaedics and/or Neurology to join our team. You’ll collaborate with a group of certificate holders and Advanced Practitioners, handling referrals in these specific areas.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in independent performance of surgeries including Spinal Surgery, Complex Fracture Repair, TPLO/TTA Cruciate Repairs, Luxating Patella Surgery, and ideally, Arthroscopy of Joints (for orthopaedic specialists).
- Opportunity for Branch Partnership
- Salary Range: £100,000 to £130,000 per annum, based on experience
- Specialist CPD: 5 days / £5,000, with additional support for lecturing to advance knowledge among Advanced Practitioners and certificate holders
- Access to CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, Lab, top-notch theatres, and hospitalization amenities
- Regular MRI visits facilitated via a mobile lorry unit
- Night nursing support available
- Commencement in 2024 (preferably by March), with a flexible 4/5 day working week
- Weekend/evening on-call duty restricted to emergencies only, ensuring equitable participation and mostly advisory support to the nursing team
