NURSING & MIDWIFERY COUNCIL
Location
Central London | United Kingdom
Job description
About the NMC
Our vision is safe, effective and kind nursing and midwifery practice that improves everyone’s health and wellbeing. As the independent regulator of more than 808,000 nursing and midwifery professionals, we have an important role to play in making this a reality.
About the role
Do you love connecting with people through the power of digital communications? Are you the kind of person who gets excited about using email and social media for creating meaningful interactions online? We're looking for someone special to become our lead in mass email communications and supporting social media management.
In this role, you won’t just be sitting behind a screen; you’ll be an important voice in our organisation, helping us reach and engage with communities far and wide. Email and social media aren’t just ‘channels’ for us; they’re critical lines to inform the people we serve. Helping us to articulate the benefits of our work to those who receive care. You’ll be at the heart of this, creating meaningful interactions and delivering messages that matter.
This role will suit a digital communications all-rounder. It’s not only about the systems experience you have but your ability to demonstrate how you can learn and implement knowledge of new systems you adopt.
About you
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, you’ll lead our mass email communications dealing with data-led campaigns. You’ll also be someone with experience of using social media in a professional capacity. You’ll be a values-driven person who believes in the power of digital communications to make a positive difference to people.
Most importantly though, you’ll be a self-starter. Someone who has a passion for the work that they do. Someone who loves working autonomously to constantly improve systems and processes, solve problems and ask challenging questions.
If you're passionate about making a difference and keen to bring your digital skills to an organisation that values real, lasting impact over metrics, then we can't wait to meet you.
