Job description

A London Nanny is required to help a lovely family in taking attentive care of their two school-aged children and their baby on the way. This will be a shared care role as the mother will be studying part-time. They ideally look for a confident nanny to help the children with their homework and who has some knowledge about Montessori’s pedagogy. The children have allergies/intolerances to dairy eggs/soya/gluten/low carbohydrates so the nanny must be confident in dealing with food allergies. The family has a cleaner who comes 3 times a week but they expect the nanny to clean after the children and organise their clothes and laundry.

This London family will be traveling to France or UK so someone willing to join them would be ideal. They own a dog so someone comfortable around animals is a must.

Working hours: Tuesday to Friday 7.30 am to 6 pm, plus every other Saturday 7.30 am to 12 pm

Duties include:

preparing healthy and varied meals for the children
organising the children’s daily schedule
changing nappies
cleaning and sterilising bottles
setting up nap routine
washing and dressing the children
playing with the children
taking track of the children’s development and updating the parents
making sure the children are always safe and happy
organising the children’s clothes
doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes
making sure the children’s room is always clean
doing occasional grocery shopping for the children’s supplies
Someone who knows to drive would be a bonus and a valid first aid qualification is essential. They are keen to hire in April.
