Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in our clients commercial property team, bringing your expertise and knowledge to handle a diverse range of property matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Solid Grounding in Commercial Property: Utilize your in-depth understanding of commercial property and conveyancing to handle purchase/sale transactions, leases, and small business transactions.
- Caseload Management: Independently manage your caseload from initial client contact through to completion. Provide guidance to team members on cases appropriate to your level of experience.
- Client Advisory: Offer legal advice and assistance to existing clients while actively contributing to the development and establishment of new client relationships.
- Business Development: Play a key role in business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
- Property Transaction Expertise: Handle commercial and residential property transactions, including the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters, property acquisitions and sales for development, and representation of pension schemes, trusts, and companies.
- Client Care: Ensure outstanding client care at all stages of the legal process.
- Compliance: Manage cases to a high standard in accordance with SRA requirements and the Law Society protocol.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of three years post-qualified experience.
- Team Player: Well-organised and collaborative team player.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with database software.
- 1 day a week in office (Grantham)
