Job description

We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced  Customer Service Advisor to support one of our highly regarded local authority clients with a busy workload.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and courteously to a high volume of phone and email enquiries, predominantly concerning waste management
• Provide accurate information and guidance to customers regarding waste disposal procedures, collection schedules, recycling initiatives, and other related inquiries
• Address customer concerns and complaints regarding waste services with professionalism and empathy, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate channels within the council, ensuring timely and effective follow-up to meet customer needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of all interactions and resolutions, accurately updating customer records and databases to facilitate future reference and analysis.

Skills & Experience

• Professional telephone manner essential
• Experience in a customer service or administration role preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
• Fully competent with MS Office

Location: Oakham, Leicestershire
