We’re seeking a highly strategic and senior-level Marketing Manager to join a leading B2B technology consultancy based near Royston in Hertfordshire. Truly a life-changing organisation, they help to develop technologies and products across life sciences, health and deep tech.

The Role - Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll be responsible for taking ownership of, developing and implementing the campaigns and fully integrated content-focused marketing strategy, keeping clarity on direction and goals for one of their key business areas.

You’ll manage stakeholders and make a splash in terms of thought leadership content, and multi-channel campaigns… all for building brand awareness and developing and enhancing relationships. If you’re used to marketing products to quickly solve a problem, then this won’t be for you.

You’ll need to be familiar with long and windy sales cycles, able to support the sales funnel at every step and be well-versed in all areas of marketing, not just digital.

Requirements - Marketing Manager

• At least 7 years of senior-level marketing experience from either B2B services or non-tangible products, B2B professional services or agency background with technology and scientific clients.
• Strong thought leadership campaigns experience, able to work content and utilise it strategically.
• Strong overall marketing strategy and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication experience, able to work collaboratively with the wider marketing team, as well as autonomously within the specific business section.
• A degree in marketing or a scientific field is a strong advantage, but not an essential requirement for this position.

Location

This position is predominately office based, with once a week working from home. Their offices are much easier to drive to, from locations such as Royston, Cambridge, Duxford, Sawston, Melbourn, Saffron Walden, Buntingford, Stevenage, Milton, Luton, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Huntingdon, Waterbeach, Swavesey, Ware, Hertford, Linton, Bishops Stortford, Welwyn Garden City.
