We're currently recruiting a dedicated Waste Management Technician And Cleaner to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in 14Forty on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- To promote a safety culture that operates in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times
- To ensure the delivery and quality of the WM operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures
- To ensure the Compass policies, procedures and controlled documents are up to date and implemented correctly in your area including HSE, See Care Share and Waste service procedures
- To ensure the right number of people are trained to the right skill level to deliver the required WM services
- To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors to ensure they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements e.g. waste
- Take overall responsibility for the WM service delivery on all the sites that are assigned to your area of responsibility. This may include multiple large units, remote satellite sites and minor units
- To ensure the WM operation continually improves in all areas of the operation - Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety
- To liaise with the client as appropriate seeking opportunities to improve the WM service delivery and enhance the reputation of ESS
- To work flexibly and attend off site meetings and training courses as required
- To comply with any reasonable requests made by your line manager
Our ideal Waste Management Technician And Cleaner will:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including Waste Management
- Good numerical and written skills
- Able to speak & understand English
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent people management skills
- Preferred minimum of 12 months experience managing Waste in a commercial environment
- IT literate
- Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements including attending off site meetings
- Full UK manual driving licence
