You will be responsible for driving project management excellence and delivering our digital customer experience transformation programme, including projects of various sizes, in Renishaw’s Group Marketing department in line with our digital CX strategy.

This role

Based at Renishaw’s headquarters in Gloucestershire, UK, with options for hybrid working.

You will be responsible for driving project management excellence and delivering our digital customer experience transformation programme, including projects of various sizes, in Renishaw’s Group Marketing department in line with our digital CX strategy.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will work particularly closely with the Web Experience Manager to ensure the successful scoping and delivery of DX projects.

You will manage website change and digital improvement projects from end to end, working closely with product owners, UX/UI specialists, developers, commercial stakeholders and third parties.

Responsibility for rollout of multi-language and market specific website change projects as well as ecommerce and other digital channel changes and improvements.

Requirements capture, project scoping, systems deployment, training and on-boarding.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering projects from early idea through to delivery and expected to contribute to the pre-project scoping phase.

Running on time, on budget projects of varying scale and complexity concurrently.

Managing an array of stakeholders at all levels across a diverse and complex business.

Project risks identification and escalation as required.

Effective reporting of projects performance and communicating expert insights.

Key requirements

Ideally 5 years of experience in managing digital projects, preferably in web and ecommerce domains

With a passion for all things web and digital, you will have good experience of the latest technology, tools and techniques.

Demonstrable digital project management experience ideally client side for an international brand.

Experience of project scoping, definition and planning.

Detailed definition of project release requirements.

Experience of commercial management and budgeting large-scale phased web projects.

A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices

Use of productivity and project management tools such as Atlassian, Jira, RAID, Miro, Polarion, Confluence, DevOps.

Successful project delivery experience against agreed release milestones.

Good relationship-building and networking skills with confident communication.

Excellent attention to detail, organisational and admin skills.

Experience creating project documentation including requirements gathering, PIDs and status reports and backlogs.

A passion for innovation and continuous improvement

Experience working alongside external agencies for elements of project delivery.

Ability to manage a project in both agile and waterfall approaches.

User-centred design approach.

Knowledge of best practice in usability, accessibility, responsive solutions and design.

Experience implementing digital systems, including marketing automation and web technologies.

Experience managing content on an intranet, ideally using SharePoint.
