SEN Teaching Assistant | £90-105 Per Day | Nottingham - NG20 | ASAP Start | Long Term

LTF Recruitment are partnered with a mainstream primary school within Mansfield (NG20) who are in search of an SEN Specialist TA to support within an onsite SEN Provision. With a supportive and friendly team, the school offers an excellent surrounding to develop your skills and expand your career knowledge.
Main duties will entail:
- Supervising and managing an SEN base within a mainstream primary school.
- Working with students requiring additional support both on a 1:1 basis and within smaller group environments.
- Taking responsibility for the provision of care and appropriate learning opportunities for your designated child.
- Supervising children at all times, protecting them from dangerous or harmful situations.
- Liaise with the child's parent/carer, providing them with a daily activity record.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of level 2 teaching assistant Qualification
- Previous UK experience working with children in a school environment.
- An excellent understanding of special educational needs including speech and language, ADHD, challenging behaviour, and developmental delays.
- Calming mannerisms in challenging situations.
- The ability to think and act quickly both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong behaviour management skills while creating a fun learning environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
