Job description
Joining as Accounts Technician / Semi Senior Accountant based in the firms Newton Abbot offices you will be taking on the preparation of financial year end statements for wide ranging and varied limited companies, OMBs and SMEs into the £millions in turnover alongside partnerships and sole trader clients. You will also have involvement in tax, VAT computations and returns, providing bookkeeping and management accounting services, filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on your client's behalf and ensure that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date. Your responsibilities and involvements with clients, wider accounting and tax project work will increase over time as you develop within the team and role and you will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professional around you, combined with study support on offer for those looking to pursue further qualifications.
