Your new company
I am currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Manager / Senior Manager to join an already established Accountancy Practice who are opening a brand new office based in Manchester City Centre. This opportunity offers genuine prospects to progress, and will allow you to be involved in the development and building of a brand new team in Manchester to service an already strong client portfolio. For the right person, this role could develop in to you pitching and winning work for the office. This firm already has 2 long-standing offices based in Cheshire and South Manchester.
Your new role As the Manager / Senior Manager of the office, you will work to service an already existing client portfolio, ideally on both Accounts and Audit (however the Audit experience is a desirable, and not essential). You will be involved in working with clients based in and around Manchester City Centre, and being the main point of contact.
You will work closely with the Audit Partner to develop new business and relationships for the office, as well as be involved in any recruitment decisions of the brand new team. Your client portfolio will consist of a mix or industries and ambitious businesses.
This is an exciting opportunity with genuine prospects to progress your carer quickly, being at the forefront of driving a new office and having a direct impact on the success of the Manchester offering.
What you'll need to succeed You must have Management experience, and will be considered if you have had experience managing a small or large team. It it essential that you have experience managing a client portfolio, and it would be a bonus if you also have audit experience, however this is not essential.
You must be hard working, be proactive and driven to support a growing business. You must also have a proven track record of supporting junior members of staff, in order to ensure the team are able to continuously grow and professionally develop.

You will be supporting by the Audit Partner who will help drive the business alongside you and the growing team, as well as a wider network of colleagues, Directors and Partners within the firm.
