Do you have what it takes to become our clients specialist Grinding Technician ?
Are you someone who takes pride in achieving close tolerances when grinding large-scale materials?
A Grinding Technician is required to progress and support the team in its production commitments and growth. Operating manual and CNC roll grinding machines, grinding rolls and ancillary components from the paper and steel industries.
Experience in roll grinding from either industry would be advantageous and training will be provided for the user-friendly interface of our state of the art 3D roll grinding machine. We would also consider candidates with experience in other forms of grinding.

Competencies
Experience of grinding work, knowledge of the process and equipment involved.
Ability to work well with others but also to work self-supervised using own initiative.
Ability to see and implement improvement opportunities both in manufacturing and personal skills.
Basic IT knowledge, the CNC system is a simple menu-based program in a Windows environment.
Certified lifting and slinging advantageous but training is available.
Ideally craft apprentice trained in mechanical operations
