The time has come to help a busy MD and his business grow to the next level. With turnover at c £10m he has decided to appoint a Company Accountant, so he can concentrate on growing other aspects of the business.

The business lies within the e-commerce market, sourcing products from the Far East culminating in a global market place. As his "right hand man / woman" this will require a candidate who is used to working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment where working with a large degree of autonomy will be required.

Duties will be as expected :

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow is vital in a small business - budgeting and providing a true and meaningful cash flow is a key element
• Preparation of the VAT return
• Bank reconcilliations
• Experience of foreign currency would be an advantage
• Ad hoc management reporting
