Job description

Design Engineer, County Antrim, £30,000 to £40,000 plus benefits 

We are working with a successful designer & manufacturer to recruit their new Design Engineer . 

Joining their design team you develop new and existing products, this will include:

• Turning research ideas into detailed designs for production
• Re-engineering designs to make them more production-friendly 
• Producing production specifications and engineering drawings
• Applying Continuous Improvement methodology to your working practices 

What we are looking for… 

• Ideally at least 2 years of Design experience 
• Confident user of 2D & 3D CAD packages 
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding of design stress/loading calculations and being familiar with FEA
