Quality Inspector

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 per annum

Work hours: Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-15:45

We are looking for a Quality Inspector within the manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join an amazing company growing within the industry.

As the next Quality Inspector your day will consist of:

• Inspecting incoming goods
• Both mechanical and electronic inspection
• Carry out appropriate measurements and tests.
• Responsible for validating the accuracy and quality of goods.
• Liaising with Procurement, Quality management and shipping
• Promote and encourage continuous improvements of quality.
• Work within a high spec cleanroom.

The Quality Inspector should have the following experience:

• Use of mechanical inspection tools: verniers, calipers, micrometers
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of both mechanical and electronic parts
• Worked to ISO9001 Standards
• Clean room experience (not essential)
• Soldering skills (desirable)
• Computer literate
