As a Learner Engagement Consultant, your key focus will be collaborative engagement with employers, learners, and partners to meet targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to learner recruitment.
Your primary responsibilities include sourcing learners for adult education courses, with a specific emphasis on Multiply, Skills Bootcamps, and Adult Education Budget courses. This role entails working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to optimise opportunities for learner referrals. The role requires you to be passionate about connecting individuals with educational opportunities and achieving measurable outcomes. This position offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity for learner engagement.
Responsibilities - Meet monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both learner engagement and income generation, with a focus on outcomes related to job placements.
- Interact with JCP claimants and other community group customers to promote courses, enabling the acquisition of skills, knowledge, and confidence to enhance employability.
- Deliver comprehensive course information to partners, fostering confidence and understanding of the support available through our training programs.
- Actively promote new and existing courses to employers, contributing to the development of a customer pipeline aligned with company objectives and community needs.
- Play a pivotal role in promoting local employer vacancies, and establishing valuable connections within the community.
- Conduct expressions of interest and enrolment processes for prospective learners through telephone and face-to-face interactions.
- Collaborate with learners to identify and address barriers to work and learning, developing effective solutions.
- Communicate proficiently with learners and stakeholders across various levels, ensuring a positive and supportive learner experience.
- Cultivate relationships with employers to secure guaranteed interviews for learners completing training programmes.
- Produce regular reports detailing progress and achievements towards established KPIs.
- Generate and manage a robust prospect pipeline, identifying and nurturing learner relationships for substantial long-term potential.
- Maintain regular contact with the pipeline, ensuring consistent visibility and exploring wider sales opportunities for various provision types offered by the organisation.
- Cover additional geographical areas when required to contribute to the delivery of outcomes.
- Undertake any other reasonable/appropriate duties as needed.
Education/Qualification - GCSE Maths and English level A-C or equivalent.
Skills and Experience Essential - Experience identifying and bringing in new relationships/businesses with an evidenced track record of converting learners’ interest into business growth.
- Industry-specific experience in engagement with JCP and other relevant organisations to deliver job outcomes/work placements.
Desirable, but not essential: - Knowledge of the barrier to employment for our demographic of learners can assist in overcoming barriers.
- Full UK driving licence.
Additional Information Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annumdepending on experience
Location: Remote-based, covering Kent & Essex
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
