In this role You will lead our social impact and sustainability efforts across Britain - applying your passion, knowledge, and network to take our work to the next level.

You’ll blend an ability to oversee our flagship hunger relief programmes and act as a local champion on sustainability with commercial nous to guide our retail social impact partnerships and a strong desire to tell our story externally.

Your role will be based in our   MEDIA CITY, MANCHESTER OFFICE   on a hybrid work schedule.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Help us feed more than 300,000 children each year through hands-on strategy and execution of our signature school breakfast club programme.
• Manage Kellanova’s local partnership between Pringles and Movember, ensuring all local opportunities are maximised to make a difference and engage colleagues and communities.
• Build deeper and broader alliances with our retail customers (like ASDA and Morrisons) so we can expand our joint programmes which make a difference to communities and the planet.
• Be the local expert in our global and European efforts to address sustainability (from packaging and ingredients to carbon reduction and water use).
• Act as the go-to resource and champion on social and sustainability topics for UK colleagues. Help educate and engage colleagues on sector trends and key Kellanova actions being taken.
• Blend your specialist knowledge with commercial understanding to challenge us to think and act differently.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Demonstrable experience of creating, leading and delivering a range of community impact and sustainability initiatives in the UK
• The ability to partner with commercial colleagues and an appreciation for the practical application for social impact and sustainability work within a commercial setting
• Comfortable being a bit of an all-rounder. Leading a strategy one minute, execution the next and then at home talking to a schoolteacher about our breakfast club.
• A strong external network across the UK
• Solid project management skills
• Exceptional influencing skills
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and at times with incomplete information
