Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £24,090.07. Earn up to £30,688.87 per annum (£12.32 per hour)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. As a Support Worker, you will work with adults with disabilities, providing them with practical and emotional support to help them live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support three gentlemen with disabilities with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

- Promote independence and enable these gentlemen to develop new skills and interests.

- Provide emotional support and companionship.

- Work closely with their families and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated support.

- Maintain accurate records of their care plans and progress.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

- Adhere to professional ethical and legal standards in the provision of support services.

Here is what we're looking for:

- Experience working in a care or support role, ideally with adults with disabilities but not essential.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Empathy and compassion for people we support and their families.

- Understanding of the principles of person-centred care.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
