Senior Biomedical Scientist - Histology
Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Pathology | Permanent Contract | Full Time
Up to £45,000.00 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Biomedical Scientist at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
As a Senior Biomedical Scientist you will:
Deliver quality pathology services and taking a share of covering out of hours service as required.
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control.
Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables.
Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures. This is part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients.
Relevant laboratory experience in multi-disciplinary biomedical science.
Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
Great communication and team player skills.
The ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
To succeed as a Senior Biomedical Scientist you will have:
