Job description
Charbel Blinds based in RossonWye specialise in made to measure curtains blinds and shutters for both the domestic and commercial markets are looking to recruit a new Production Team member.
On offer is a 24hour working week which can be split over four or five days and is paying up to 18000 a year ( 14.42 an hour). This role comes with 23 days holiday full initial and ongoing training as well as the opportunity to develop your career within a wellestablished and fastgrowing company.
As the Production Team member you will be planning for project managing manufacturing and assembling their extensive range of window blinds.
This will include:
- Cutting metal and fabrics to correct size drilling fabrics punching metals and assembling components into finished blinds.
- Assisting in the ordering of fabrics and components.
- Checking and maintaining stock levels.
- General admin duties preparing and organising worksheets etc.
- As required raising any quality issues or warranty cases with suppliers.
- Supporting the front of house team during busy periods by answering phones etc.
- Working with the wider team to ensure an efficient and seamless service for clients.
Requirements
What you will need as a starting point is:
- Basic DIY skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience of using hand and power tools.
- Confidence to use a chop saw for prolonged periods.
- A good understanding of metric and imperial measurements and the ability to work with both.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to use your own initiative work as part of a team possess a cando attitude as well as being a practical and methodical person who enjoys concentrating on routine tasks.
If you have related experience that would be great but if not then a genuine interest and a willingness to learn is all that is needed as full initial and ongoing training and development will be provided.
