Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer page is loaded
Salary £43,083.30 per annum
You will work Monday to Friday and your shift patterns will rotate over 3 weeks. Week 1 is 6am – 2pm, week 2 is 9am to 5pm and week 3 is 2pm to 10pm - you will also work on call during one of these weeks through the night. Monday to Friday rotating shifts. Week 1 6am – 2pm, week 2 9am – 5pm and week 3 2pm - 10pm and an on-call rota of 1 in 3 during one of these weeks through the night . You will work 8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid break daily.

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Duties and responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability
Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving
Maintenance is carried out in both ambient and cold store environment to a temperature of -18, just like working in a freezer however full cold store spec PPE and equipment is provided
At times work using safety harnesses & on ladders at height
Who we're looking for:
Electrically qualified with mechanical experience: Candidates need to have done a maintenance apprenticeship or have a city and guilds level 3 certificate, in electrical most preferred or mechanical if not. Multi skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical is ideal.
Experience of working with automation & PLCs
Working safely at height trained
Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team
Willingness to learn and improve your skills
Able to drive to get to site
