Electrical Shift Engineer (HV/LV) - East London - 3 Months Temp - Data Centre - Starting Immediately - Up to £26 per hour
A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider based at one of their prestigious Data Centre contracts. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a critical data centre located close to Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 17th / 18th Edition etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and HV/LV qualifications.
Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Reset
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Water Treatment
- HV/LV Switching
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
Hours of work - 4 on 4 off
- Days & Nights
- 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00pm - 07:00am
- Starting ASAP
Requirements
- Electrical qualified (C&G, NVQ etc)
- HV/LV Certified (Current or Expired)
- A proven track record in Building Maintenance
- Good Communication Skills.
- Punctual and reliable
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
