Deployment Engineer - £ 40k - £50k - Fully Remote, UK or EU based

Opportunity  

As a Remote UK or EU based Deployment Engineer , you will be at the cutting edge of technolo gy, in charge of the successful deployment of i6 products at airports around the world. You will be responsible for the ongoing customer engagement and change management support, both remotely and at customer sites. 

Role  

With strong project management skills, the Deployment Engineer may be working on 2-3 projects at a time, deploying specialist software for delivery of fuel into multiple major airlines across the globe.

You should therefore have experience of:

 

• Planning and executing customer site deployments from contract award through go-live and into operational support
• Overseeing the installation of hardware onto customer sites/vehicles
• Configuring platforms to specific customer sites 
• Project Management - with understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

 

While you will be UK or EU based, but Remote, from time to time, you may be required to travel to customer sites around the world therefore you should have no travel or visa restrictions.

 

Key responsibilities: 

 

• Work closely with the Sales, Product & Technical support teams to fine tune business requirements for individual customers
• Evaluate and recommend hardware requirements for site installations
• Provide tactical advice on preferred hardware solutions
• Liaise with the i6 Procurement team to ensure appropriate equipment is provided
• Deliver end-user training programmes and train-the-trainer type courses

Person  

The role requires high-levels of interaction with various customer functions from front-line users to site management.  Providing an outstanding level of support and responsiveness is vital.

If you have the following experience then you may be the Deployment Engineer we need: 

• Previous experience of into-plane refuelling - military or commercial
• Knowledge of the end to end fuel management process
• Deployment of technical products to customer sites
• Ability to articulate complex customer requirements to both technical and non technical audiences
• People skills - this is a customer facing role
• Attention to detail

Desirable skills:

• Use of Project Management tools such as Jira
• Project Management qualifications, such as PRINCE2 (desirable)
• Knowledge of the GCP suite 
• Knowledge of Moki - cloud-based mobile device management (MDM) platform
