Position: Junior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers to support the Automation team and develop efficient manufacturing processes.
• Support engineering design team with assembly, testing and problem solving the development of new products.
• Assist in managing new product introduction processes.
• Analyse current production processes, identifying limitations; improve lean manufacturing techniques to resolve them.
• Use Inventor/AutoCAD Computer Aided Design system to produce 2D and 3D drawings of parts and assemblies using approved parts where possible.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering (2:1 or above)
• Experience using design software, ideally Inventor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
• Understanding of engineering terminology, manufacturing techniques, material choices and design considerations.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• UK Driving licence.
• Free to work in the UK without visa restrictions.
