As our Maintenance Team in Operations within the Industrial Gases in the UK and Ireland continues to grow, we would like to welcome a
Field Mechanical Technician. About the Team You will be joining the maintenance team of 20 plus field engineers working across UK and Ireland.

As the Field Mechanical Technician, you will: Provide hands on support to perform field and workshop activities related to repair, modification, and refurbishment of a variety of mechanical equipment, such as pumps, compressors, and expanders, heat exchangers and pressure vessels. You will primarily be working under the direct supervision of either a Field Mechanical Technician Supervisor, or a Mechanical Field Engineer.
You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be expected to be able to liaise with contractors and internal customers and to write follow-up reports and EMRs following the execution of field work, as and when required.
As the Field Mechanical Technician, you already are or have: - Level 3 external qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Completion of recognised mechanical apprenticeship or proven skills in this area.
