Veterinary Surgeon - Staffordshire
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- 4 days a week, 8:30am - 6:30pm
- Negotiable CPD allowance

Purovets is currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a modern independent practice in Staffordshire. They offer an even mixture of consults and surgery, with great facilities and equipment including DR radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX lab and much more. The successful candidate will work four days per week from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with one long ops day per week. There are no OOHs, and they offer a weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm, with time in lieu given for weekend work.
Consultations are scheduled for 15 minutes, and they provide dedicated time for administration post-consults. You will never have a full day of consultations, allowing for a good clinical mix to keep you on your toes. They also keep a lot of cases in-house rather than referring to other services meaning you will have plenty of opportunities to further sharpen your skills.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, be confident in all aspects of first opinion practice, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Rugeley's location provides convenient access to the M6 motorway and nearby train stations, making it well-connected to larger towns and cities like Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham.
