Commercial Assistant
This is a great opportunity for a Commercial Assistant to join a main contractor and work on one of the largest rail projects in the UK with offices based in either Manchester or Batley.
The company delivers key pieces of infrastructure across the UK and works with both public and private sector clients, through a range of sectors. Your role as Commercial Assistant will be performing finance-related administrative tasks, preparing correspondence/reports and recording/maintaining data.

Key responsibilities for this Commercial Assistant role:
- Review requisition requests and process in SAP
- Place orders for Consumables and Stationary through the relevant Company Portals
- Provide assistance in raising subcontract orders in SAP
- Issue correspondence to relevant suppliers and subcontractors
- Collation of delivery tickets
- Bought ledger invoice clearance to agreed payment terms, raising queries with suppliers where necessary
Experience required for this Commercial Assistant role:
- Experience in procurement / buying i.e.: Raising orders
- Experience in accounts payable
- Experience with using SAP + Excel software
- Previous industry experience would be advantageous
Package offered for this Commercial Assistant role:
- £200-250 PAYE per day
- 6 month rolling contract
