Description
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of various structures such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels. You will be working closely with a team of engineers and architects to ensure the successful completion of projects. We are looking for an individual with exceptional technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians in conducting structural analysis and design activities.
Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and clients to develop project objectives and determine design solutions.
Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct structural assessments and evaluations of existing structures.
Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
Oversee construction activities, including site visits and inspections, to ensure adherence to design plans and specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and construction.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, and Revit.
Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
Strong leadership abilities with the proven capability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams effectively.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and high-profile projects.

Pay Rate: £207.64
