Hoop HR are so excited to be working with one of our valued Welsh based clients who are currently seeking a seasoned HR Director to join their established team in South Wales. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people agenda during an exciting period of organisational change. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance across multiple operational areas, ensuring alignment with governing bodies.
- Lead a large team of HR professionals in delivering the people agenda and driving organisational excellence.
- Spearhead strategic workforce planning initiatives to support transformational goals.
- Oversee organisational restructures and transformations.
- Take the lead on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
- Manage employee engagement strategies.
- Cultivate a positive organisational culture that promotes employee wellbeing and fosters high performance.
- Develop and manage comprehensive reward and benefits programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade unions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD level 5/7 qualified or, gained equivalent experience,
- Proven track record of successfully leading large–scale organisational restructures and transformative change initiatives.
- Extensive experience in industry relations and navigating complex people–related challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving people change and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel occasionally across sites as needed.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
