Job description

What you will do in your working day

You will be trained to complete:

• Year End, Quarterly and Monthly Accounts
• VAT Returns
• Payroll
• Other accounting related tasks

You will be responsible for timely chasing in Client’s paperwork and checking it on arrival for missing information.

You will also support our Admin Staff as required.

The training you will be getting

The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance (1 day a week) . This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship standard. On completion the apprentice will receive AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Level 3) qualification.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Future prospects are very good, Freeman Baker are keen to develop someone within their business and will support you through all levels of the AAT qualification.
