Job Title : ICU Nurse

Location : Cumbernauld, Scotland

Pay Rate : £30 - £42 per hour

Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and administer appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment and devices.
• Assist in emergency situations and resuscitation efforts.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to professional, legal, and ethical standards and guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements :

• Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
• Proven experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of critical care practices, protocols, and equipment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, as required.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
