Job description

The Stocks Tavern in Wigan are recruiting an Apprentice Production Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 qualification in Production Chef.

Job duties;

• Working as part of a team reporting to Head Chef
• Maintaining excellent standards of personal and food hygiene
• Preparing food to a high standard
• Cooking a wide range of foods from fresh, such as meat, poultry, fish and fresh vegetables
• Responsible for cleaning duties during shifts
• Using specialist kitchen equipment

Requirements;
• Must live locally or have a car
• Have a genuine interest in food
• Reliable

Hours of Work;
5 days out of 7 earlier start 10am latest finish 9pm/ 40 hours per week on a rota basis/ 30 mins unpaid lunch
