Vetisco

Location

Derby, Derbyshire | United Kingdom

Job description

Ambivet Derby – Senior Vet – Salary range up to £70,000 depending on experience – Relocation allowance available – Visa costs fully funded – Offering a bespoke bonus scheme

Exciting new opportunity at a brand new greenfield practice site in Derby! Would you like to be part of our new venture? Working in brand new facilities, new team, new challenge! Be part of shaping the future of this new practice?

You will enjoy working within a new purpose-built well-equipped practice. We encourage flexible working and believe in offering a real work/life balance. Full and part-time options can be discussed. This role includes working a share of OOH at our main site in Heanor, we are happy to discuss arrangements around this.

Located in the East Midlands region, our new practice will be based within Northedge Business Park, Alfreton Road. There will be ample parking. Easy access to centre of Derby, 13 miles from centre of Nottingham and 26 miles from centre of Leicester.

We are looking for either a Senior Vet or Clinical Director for our next new venture. A Senior Vet role would suit a vet interested in taking first steps into managing and leading a brand new team. Or perhaps you are already an established manager, working as a Head Vet/Clinical Director! This is an ideal opportunity to shape the future of our new practice and steer the way forward, building a new client base and offering the best in small animal care.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in growing new business, motivating a team, enjoy being commercially aware and still keeping a clinical hand in practice.

The role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who is motivated and looking to develop or build on their leadership and management skills. The successful applicant would have an eagerness to develop their understanding of the financial and operational performance of the business whilst continuing to provide high-quality clinical veterinary care.

Rewarding our people:
We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, membership fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry – and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list at on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)
