Job Description As a Senior Project Manager, you will work within a team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects. The objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop and execute projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules. This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle. You’ll be familiar with working in large, geographically dispersed multidisciplinary design teams on projects at varying stages of development from feasibility to detailed design and construction. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Ownership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your project. Client-side project management, including stakeholder, schedule, and contract management. Preparing and maintaining schedules, including dependencies and resources. Identifying and monitoring project risks and opportunities. Quality management processes for project activities and outputs. Establishing and maintaining project governance reviews. Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests. Developing and managing strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional design team including external sub-contractors / sub-consultants. Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally. Qualifications Experience of successfully delivering rail related UK infrastructure projects. Experience and familiarity in delivering projects for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and Translink. Awareness and familiarity of working under NEC suite of contracts.
