Job description

Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Poole

The Practice is now looking for a part-time Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and loyal team in their 24 hour Hospital based in Poole. You will be working alongside a fantastic team of Vets, Nurses, and Receptionists. The practice has a friendly, loyal client base who appreciate the personal service they provide. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a busy environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgments.

Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional care to patients and clients
-Work confidently in a busy environment
-Make sound clinical judgments
-Support other team members
-Continually develop professional knowledge and expertise

Skills and Experience:
-RCVS registered
-2+ years' experience in UK small animal practice or UK equivalent
-Confident all-rounder, preferably a certificate holder in Laparoscopy and/or Small Animal surgery or working towards one

Benefits:
-Salary up to £70,000 dependent on experience

-£1500.00 CPD allowance with CPD leave
-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
-5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
-4 weeks paid sabbatical leave after 5 years of service
