BDUK is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,400 people in the UK. We are responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including new capabilities like the E-7 AEW&C and the P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services and are very much in a growth phase.
Boeing Defence United Kingdom (BDUK) is looking for an experienced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineer to support existing Boeing product platforms, predominately Fixed and Rotary Wing aircraft but also Training Systems.
BDUK Engineering function operates a matrix organisation consisting of Engineering departments that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. This role will be in the Product Support Engineering Department. The Department consists of the following technical areas:
As the lead GSE Engineer, you will help to facilitate, grow and implement Product Support Engineer philosophies and techniques whilst remaining compliant with the appropriate regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Product Support Engineering Manager whilst being technically supported by our other capability specialists within the department.
The role will be hybrid in nature and based out of Lossiemouth with travel expected to Bristol.
